About

Crandall Woodworks opened its doors in 2020, delivering high-quality carpentry in the Bozeman area. We focus on beautiful results, built to last, whether that is furniture, cabinets, or houses.

Alec Crandall began his first carpentry job in 2010 in Anchorage, Alaska, where he was raised. He gained experience working with talented builders in Alaska, Montana, and Washington, developing a broad range of skills in construction. He apprenticed in a fine furniture shop before he started working independently in 2020.

Alexis Dolese grew up in a family of builders and artists. While designing and building her own house and working alongside her dad, a long time woodworker, she embarked on a career of building fine furniture. She apprenticed with many talented and successful woodworkers before starting her business in Bozeman in 2019. Alexis builds custom fine furniture and teaches woodworking at a variety of woodworking schools in the US, and in her own shop. Find Alex at Dolesewoodworks.com.

Crandall Woodworks and Dolese Woodworks married 08/24/24.
